Harvest Marathon to Impact Travel in Port Williams on Sunday, October 11

Port Williams, NS – Residents and motorists are advised to plan ahead for travel on Sunday, October 11, as the annual Harvest Marathon will result in temporary road closures and traffic disruptions throughout the Port Williams area.

Portions of Highway 358 and Wellington Dyke Road will be closed to regular traffic during the event. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes where possible.

Road Closures

The following roads will have restricted access during the marathon:

  • Highway 358 – Temporary closures will be in place on HWY 358, from HWY 1 to High Street, between 7:30am and 10:30am
  • Wellington Dyke Road – Temporary closures to through traffic between 7:45am to 12:30pm
